Flirting with Cheetas
Nov 15th, 2008 by bjoern
After some days at workshop in Francistown in the South-East of Botswana I came back today and just wanted to relax after six hours of bus-drive and early-bird-departure. So I decided to finally visit the Mokolodi-Game Reserve, which is only twenty kilometers away from Gaborone. Normally everybody goes there first after arriving but it took me a longer while but I was amazed by the green woods after the rainy days and the beautiful landscape. We saw elephants, giraphs, anthilops, bamboons and finally also cheetahs. I was so attached by them that Duma and Latotse started flirting with me, after I touched their heads one of them softly touched my head with its paw, of course without showing the claws… well, okay they were used to be touched by visitors but it was an amazing feeling after all.
