			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>After my experiences in Maun with the regional parliament we went on to Sowa, near the boarder to Zimbabwe and consulted the regional parliament of this township. That was amazingly different &#8211; not only that the gender-situation was the opposite of Maun and the meeting was dominated by femals but as well the parliament was not really elected but appointed&#8230; I am about to learn here, how democracy works&#8230;</p>
<p>And after some talks we received &#8220;green light&#8221; and I enjoyed the Sowa pan, a huge pan with san that looks a bit like my favourite Baltic sea and so I stayed some time watching the sea&#8230; without water :) In the end of the week after my return to Gaborone we attended not only the next football game but also a halloween party with tons of Americans and army people, which lasted until early in the morning&#8230; they really know how to party here!</p>
