Well arrived in Gaborone
Oct 4th, 2008 by bjoern
After some long days in transit I finally arrived in Gaborone, Botswana, where I will stay the next three months until chrismas and work for my final thesis on the transboundary water-management in the SADC region. I flight over crazy Dubai and arrived in Joburg fine, where I had a great stay in the former compound of a mafiosi – nowadays a lodge. Afterwards I took the bus and arrived in warm and great Gaborone – where I had today the pleasure to start the day with a football-match against UN guys from Lesotho and we almost won… well 4:6…
I will keep you all posted about the black mambas, crazy apes infront of our house and crashes on the streets – but so far I really enjoying getting here and I hope for great days to remember. The temperatures are really promising with around 30 degrees.

Is that ex-mafia-home still lead by that crazy swiss dude? Nice place! The world can be that small… cu soon!
